By making a conscious choice in reading the ingredient list on our food labels, cosmetic labels, and other products such as household cleaners. One can educate themselves in which daily products they consume and use contain Palm Oil. Thereby removing, reducing, or replacing these products known to contain Palm Oil and Palm Oil derivatives.
Reduce consumption of processed foods that contain palm oil
Check ingredients on the packaging to avoid palm oil and its many derivatives
Use alternative oils from crops grown locally
Ex. Corn, Sunflower, Olive, Canola oil
